Details of road closures announced for Tullamore St Patrick's Day Parade
Details of road closures for the St Patrick's Day Parade in Tullamore have been announced.
The parade takes place on Monday, March 17, starting at 11.30am, from the car park of the Bridge Centre.
Entertainment at the Review Stand on Colmcille St. starts at 10.30am. where the Tullamore Comhaltas will perform in the lead up to the official cutting of the ribbon.
To facilitate the parade, the following roads in the town will be closed from 10am until 3pm on the day.
• High Street, Bridge Street., Columcille Street, Arden Road from Kilbeggan Bridge to the junction with Collins Lane (R421).
• Harbour Street to the junction with Chapel Street.
• Patrick Street from the Garda Station to Columcille Street junction.
• Church Street from junction with Columcille Street to Market Lane.
• Tanyard to O’ Connor Square
• Tanyard Link Road
