Offaly County Counicl issues update as clean up operation continues after Storm Eowyn
Offaly County Council has issued an update as the extensive clean up and repair operation continues in the wake of Storm Eowyn.
Crews in Birr, Edenderry and Tullamore continue the work of clearing trees and other debris and Offaly County Council is advising that people allow extra time for any journey and exercise caution.
Tullamore Town park remains closed due to a number fallen trees while Greenway users should exercise caution due to fallen trees and debris. People are reminded not to approach any fallen trees or wires.

The council is advising people to contact the relevant utility provider if you are experiencing power, water or broadband outages.
Some libraries in Banagher, Ferbane and Daingean are not open today due to power outage.
