Drunken man arrested at filling station in Offaly at 8.30 in the morning
A man was arrested by the Gardaí at a filling station on Railway Road in Birr last over the Christmas period.
According to gardai, the man was drinking in public and was in an intoxicated state at 8.30am in the morning on Friday, December 27.
According to gardai, he was causing a disturbance in the filling station.
Gardai were called but the man refused to leave the scene and was subsequently arrested.
