REVEALED: Date announced for when final tickets for Electric Picnic will go on sale and how to get them

The Stradbally event has evolved into Ireland's biggest festival, with 75,000 festival goers expected at the event this year.

Last chance for festival-goers as FINAL tickets to Electric Picnic on sale this Wednesday

Fans who hadn't yet managed to get tickets to this year's Electric Picnic are being offered a lifeline as festival sponsor Three mark their return to the festival with the announcement of some last minute lifeline tickets.

The company revealed today that they are offering music lovers an opportunity to pick up the last remaining tickets this Wednesday, 17th July at 10am.

The popular Stradbally festival has managed to fill another star studded line up this August, with tickets for the three day music extravaganza having sold out months in advance.

Now, Three are offering customers the chance to redeem an exclusive pre-sale code to get the final tickets for Ireland’s biggest festival in Laois via Three+, ahead of tickets going on sale.

The festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary after debuting as a one-day event in 2004, which drew in 10,000 attendees.

It has since evolved into Ireland's biggest festival, with 75,000 festival goers expected at the event this year, up 5,000 since last year.

This year's line-up is impressively eclectic and should appeal to a diverse range of tastes. Kylie Minogue, Kneecap, The Wolfe Tones, Noah Kahan and Raye are among the acts who are set to perform.

Calvin Harris, Jazzy, Kodaline and Faithless are also among the fifty acts who will play the sold-out weekend.
