Offaly European Election candidate Barry Cowen suffered what he described himself as a Father Ted moment while on the campaign trail in Longford.
The Fianna Fail candidate in the Midlands North West constituency was pictured leaving a shop in Longford with party colleague Joe Flaherty with a big sign for the lingerie section hanging over their heads.
In the famous Father Ted episode, Ted, Dougal and several other priests get lost in 'Ireland's largest lingerie section' and battle to find their way out.
