Full list of candidates announced for upcoming Local Elections in Offaly
A total of 37 candidates will contest the upcoming Local Election in Offaly hoping to gain one of the 19 seats up for grabs.
Fifteen candidates have put themselves forward in the Birr Electoral Area with six seats to be won.
Ten candidates are on the ballot paper for the Edenderry Electoral Area with six to be elected and twelve candidates will run in the Tullamore Electoral Area with seven to be elected following the vote on Friday, June 7.
There will be at least four new councillors elected as four sitting councillors, Eamon Dooley and John Carroll in Birr, John Foley in Edednerry and Danny Owens in Tullamore, are not standing for election this time around.
