Car damaged in 'neighbourly dispute' in the Midlands
A ‘neighbourly dispute’ resulted in damage being caused to a car in Portlaoise, a court was told.
Raymond Malone, 40, of 76 Laurel Drive, Esker Hills, Portlaoise appeared in court accused of criminal damage at Laurel Drive on November 6, 2022.
Solicitor Barry Fitzgerald said there had been a “neighbourly dispute” and his client “did damage to a car belonging to a neighbouring property” on the date in question.
He said his client had now moved to another estate.
Judge Cephas Power adjourned the matter back to Portlaoise District Court on April 23 for the purpose of compensation.
