Mrs Eileen Hynes, Coolderry celebrated her 107th birthday on Friday last December 15th at her home and surrounded by her family, neighbours and friends who were calling to her home throughout the week to wish her well.
The 8th oldest person in Ireland, Eileen celebrated the wonderful occasion in the company of her family and pictured here with her are five of her ten children and her great grandson. Front: Donal, Mary (Hogan), birthday girl Eileen holding baby Billy. Back: Seán, Bernie (Lalor), Michael.
She was presented with an engraved Waterford Crystal Chalice on the occasion of her 107th birthday, by her cousin Fr Michael Enright, Waterford.
