Learner driver has car seized after being caught speeding in Offaly
A learner driver has had their car seized after being caught speeding in Offaly.
The motorist was one of a number of motorists caught speeding in Offaly on National Slow Down Day on Monday.
According to gardai in Offaly, a motorist with a provisional licence who was driving unaccompanied was caught travelling at 81kmph in a 50kmph zone. Gardai say the vehicle was seized and an FCN issued.
Gardai also detected another vehicles travelling at 96kmph in a 50kmph zone. A Fixed Charge Notice was issued in this case.
