It’s been well over a year since the Ballycommon Organisation for Local Development (BOLD) Lotto was won.
A delighted Mark Bergin from Edenderry could not believe his luck when promotor Dan Geraghty told him the news.
Accompanied by his fiancé Siobhan Deasy, the couple were welcomed to BTTC to receive their cheque.
BOLD Chairman Damien Mealiffe congratulated Mark and mused with their upcoming wedding, it was a well-timed win.
All monies raised by the BOLD lotto are reinvested in the community with various initiatives including Emergency Alert Pendants, Defibrillators, Childcare, Neighbourhood Watch, the Community Christmas Dinner and the repair & refurbishment of Dun Eochla Centre to name a few. Tickets can be purchased online or from promotors.
