Recovery truck in Midlands with car on board seized by gardai Pic Laois Offaly Gardai
Gardai in the Midlands seized an untaxed recovery vehicle found operating without a valid roadworthiness certificate.
Garda discovered the vehicle didn’t have a valid certificate of roadworthiness when they stopped the vehicle on the M7 Motorway in Laois.
Further checks revealed the driver didn’t hold the correct licence to operate the vehicle and the tax had expired.
The recovery truck was then taken to be weighed and found to be overweight.
Gardai said the vehicle was seized and prosecutions have commenced.
