Offaly minor hurling team named ahead of semi-final with Kilkenny

Offaly’s minor hurling boss Eunan Martin has named his panel to take on Kilkenny in the semi-final of the Electric Ireland Minor Hurling Championship on Saturday, June 23 at 1pm in Bord na Mona O’Connor Park.

Martin has made no changes from the team that accounted for the challenge of Laois in the quarter-final last weekend. He has kept faith with the team after they recorded an impressive eight-point win over the neighbours in O'Connor Park.

MATCH REPORT: Offaly too strong for neighbours Laois in Leinster MHC quarter-final

Stephen Loughnane will be minding the net, while the two Aarons, Brazil and Flanagan will be joined in the fullback line by the impressive Shane Mulrooney.

Bill and Luke Egan will be willing runners from the wing back positions while Shinrone's Dara Maher will provide stability at centre back.

Having run the game for long periods against Laois, Evan Houlihan and Luke Nolan continue in midfield. The half forward line of Cathal Kiely, Cillian Sampson and Cathal Donoghue will be key having accounted for 2-18 of Offaly's 2-19 total against Laois.
