Offaly GAA star to host kids summer camps

Offaly and Cappincur GAA star Eoin Carroll is putting the finishing touches to his very own Future Stars Gaelic Boot Camp scheduled to take place in July and August.

The camps will take place at Daingean from July 31 to August 3 and Killeigh from August 7 to August 10. They are open to 5-13 year olds and promise four days of fun activities and games.

Eoin told the Offaly Express that the camps are about more than just the games themselves and that not only will they progress the football skills of participants, but also "develop key skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication."

The camps will have daily prizes and competitions such as “best sportsperson” and “best leader” and each boy and girl will receive a stunning Future Stars Boot Camp jersey as seen in the poster.”

The camps, priced at €45 per child or €80 for a pair of siblings, begin at 10am and end at 2.45pm each day and will give kids an opportunity to learn from one of the finest footballers in the county.
