The senior Offaly camogie team face last year’s All-Ireland semi-finalists Dublin in the semi-final of the Leinster Camogie Championship this Sunday in Parnells GAA, Coolock at 12pm.

The fixture was agreed to be played earlier in the day to avoid a clash with their hurling counterparts who face Kilkenny in the Leinster Senior hurling championship.

Offaly go into this game off the back of a poor league campaign, however, their last performance against Meath in the relegation play-off was testament to the Offaly camogie team we are familiar with.

Offaly received a walkover in their quarter-final game from Kildare while Dublin received a bye into their semi-final game.

In other results Kilkenny defeated Laois in their quarter-final on a scoreline of 6-20 (38) to 1-7. Wexford also defeated Meath in their quarter-final on a scoreline of 5-22 to Meath’s 0-5.

The Offaly camogie team are hoping for a good turnout of supporters at the weekend to summon the huge performance needed against the Dubs.
