Young designer of new Offaly Camogie crest receives award

Young Caoimhe Ginty from the St. Cillians club has been presented with a special award after designing the new Offaly Camogie crest late last year.

Caoimhe was the winner of the Offaly Camogie crest competition which asked the young people of the county to come up with ideas for a symbol that captured the spirit of Offaly Camogie.

The Offaly County Board presented Caoimhe with a special glass award with the Offaly crest engraved on it by Offaly Camogie Chairman Martin Delaney.

She also received a collection of Offaly Camogie gear with the new crest emblazoned on it when she was announced as the winner last year.
