Clubs invited to second 'Offaly Way' training workshop
Offaly GAA has announced Part 2 of the "Offaly Way," a fitness vision for all Offaly GAA clubs. The new workshop takes place with Performance GDA David Hare this coming Saturday, January 20 at 10am at the Faithful Fields.
David Hare, who delivered the first part of this vision in late 2017, is expanding his talk on state of the art ways to implement simple, safe, planned and effective Strength and Conditioning methods for all club players in Offaly.
In this more in depth talk David will go through:
- Sample Agility, Speed, Acceleration and Power Drills you can implement before every session,
- Sample fitness sessions you can implement with your squads that will get your team fit the right way.
- Sample Gym programmes you can start with very little room and equipment.
The feedback from the last event was that the participants enjoyed the practical element of the first session, so Offaly GAA will continue with that format.
This talk is only open for participants who made the first introduction talk in 2017.
