History Group

When families are meeting over the Christmas time and remembering times past, if something of a historical nature is discussed, please make a note of it and pass it on to members of the History Group. Our next project is to record as many items of historical interest in the Moorock, Bellair, Boher, Castlearmstrong and Leamonaghan areas as possible.

If you have a story for us, sports news, an event happening in your area, or if you want to submit pictures or videos, contact the Offaly Express team via email to, or through our Facebook.
