Rhode GAA have named their replacements for outgoing manager Paschal Kellaghan after consultation of the management selection committee.

Chairman Joe Malone confirmed that the executive committee of Rhode GAA accepted the proposal of Jack Cooney and Declan Gorman as Joint Rhode Senior Managers following the recommendation.

Cooney and Gorman have a tough act to follow after Kellaghan won back-to-back county titles in his two-year tenure, lifting the village to the top of the Offaly roll of honour with their 28th title this year.

Kellaghan has moved on after seeing out the term he originally agreed in 2015, and he will now take up a coaching role with the Tipperary senior footballers.

Rhode will commence 2018 with a target on their back as overwhelming league and championship favourites after brushing aside the challenge of both in the last two years.

They will hope to build on this year's disappointing Leinster exit at the hands of Portlaoise.
