Adrian Clancy

The Offaly senior camogie team are looking for a new manager following Adrian Clancy's decision to step down over the weekend.

Adrian was only in charge for one year but brought Offaly to a Lenister senior final and an All Ireland quater final where Offaly were beaten by eventual champions Kilkenny.

In a statement Offaly Camogie offered their sincere appreciation and thanks to the senior manager for his commitment, time and dedication to Offaly Camogie.

The statement continued by saying Offaly Camoige accepted Adrian's decision to step down from his position. He informed the County Board Executive last weekend that he would not be seeking a further term in the role due to work commitments.

It finished by saying Adrian brought a level of 'professionalism, enthusiasm and structure' to Offaly camogie that they hope can continue into the future adding "Offaly camogie would like to thank Adrian for all he has achieved with Offaly and would like to wish him all the very best for the future."

The Offaly Camogie County Board are now seeking expressions of interest for the position of Senior Manager.

Interested candidates are asked to email the Offaly Camogie secretary Mairead secretary.offaly@camogie.ie by Wednesday, November 16.
