Young hurlers, footballers and camogie stars of the future were in attendance in O’Brien Park in Tullamore recently for a very successful registration day.
Over 150 children took part on the day and enjoyed a variety of coaching sessions with Offaly hurlers David Kenny and Shane Dooley on hand to pass on their experience.
This was followed with fun games including obstacle courses and wall ball games. It was great to see so many parents and family members out on the pitch looking at all the action. Refreshments and a slide show were on show in the social centre for the parents.
All the children went home with goodies and a certificate and we hope they all had fun on the day. This day would not have been possible without all the help we had on the day both on and off the pitch. The clubs want to thank everyone for giving up their time and making it a special day for all the children.
