Timahoe hold off late Mountmellick fight back

A superb second half performance from Timahoe was enough to swing the game in their favor, as they dismissed worthy counterparts Mountmellick by two points in the second of the days games in O’Moore Park on Sunday last.

After the excitement of the opening game between The Rock and Portarlington, with The Rock narrowly claiming the honors following a one point victory, it was going to be a hard show to follow for these two teams. But they didn’t disappoint as they displayed an exhibition of football, with an exceptionally dramatic final two minutes.
