THE Offaly minor hurlers got their season on track with a win over Carlow on Saturday.
Having played with the wind in the first-half, Offaly lead by 2-12 to 1-7 with the goals coming from Jason Sampson and Thomas Geraghty.
In a low scoring second-half, Thomas Geraghty added a third goal as Offaly ran out 3-15 to 1-10 winners.
Meanwhile in the Aidan Bracken Building Design SHC on Friday there were wins for Birr and Seir Kieran while Belmont and Tullamore played out a draw.
