Tough start for Offaly hurlers in league

THE Offaly hurlers will need to hit the ground running in Division 1B of the Hurling League next year as they start with a tough away trip to Dublin.

THE Offaly hurlers will need to hit the ground running in Division 1B of the Hurling League next year as they start with a tough away trip to Dublin.

That game is provisionally fixed for February 24 and is followed by a home game against Wexford a fortnight later.

Third up is a trip to Carlow before a home game against Limerick on March 24.

Offaly finish their campaign with a long trip to take on Antrim on March 31.

Division 1B (Provisional)
Sunday February 24th: Carlow v Wexford, Dublin v Offaly, Limerick v Antrim.
Sunday March 10th: Antrim v Dublin, Offaly v Wexford, Limerick v Carlow.
Saturday March 16th: Wexford v Antrim, Dublin v Limerick.
Monday March 18th: Carlow v Offaly.
Sunday March 24th: Carlow v Antrim, Wexford v Dublin, Offaly v Limerick.
Sunday March 31st: Antrim v Offaly, Limerick v Wexford, Dublin v Carlow.
