Offaly GAA proudly presents the fun game show ‘Red or Black’ on Friday, October 26 in the Tullamore Court Hotel with a total Prize fund of up to €5000 MC for the night will be Michael Duignan and there is a great line up of teams taking part with some great names from all over the county. This is a night not to be missed with all proceeds in aid of Offaly GAA.
T 20 teams compete in a series of tasks, you in the audience support a red or black team. If your team wins you are into the next round. Loosing means you are out. After 10 tasks there will be twp members of audience still in live play to compete for prize fund of €5k.
This is the first time this type of show has been staged in Tullamore and is a fun filled evening of entertainment, craic and capers for the audience to both enjoy and participate in from the comfort of their seats. To participate all you have to do is purchase an admission ticket which cost €20 in advance which includes you in the game show and the raffle. On the night there will be a number of tasks to be completed by the teams of volunteers. The tasks will be competitive and the 2 teams in each task will represent Red or Black. The audience will be divided into supporting the Red or Black teams. After each task the winning colour ticket holders will progress into the next round of tasks.
The teams will be selected from all areas of the county and will represent all walks of life, clubs, groups and organisations. These include :
The actual tasks will vary and may include items such as good old fashioned Pitch & Toss, target shooting, stacking turf, carrying water balloons and not to mention ‘doing the ironing’. There will be something for everyone to enjoy.
As the rounds progress, there will be only two members of the audience left to play the last task for Red or Black and the winner will progress to play the roulette wheel for the substantial cash prize.
This is sure to be one of the best nights of entertainment in Tullamore for some time and will be different than anything done in the past. Everyone is invited to be part of it to mix and mingle for a great night out with a difference
Rules: to participate your admission ticket must be presented 30 min before the first task commences at 8pm. Miss first task and you are out or you must buy back in. Losers of first 3 tasks can buy back into game for a nominal fee. Ticket holders unable to attend on the night may be represented on the night by committee who will facilitate by holding the home players list. These must be notified to ticket seller before 24th of October. Numbers are limited to first in basis.
