Raheen GAA bought new land in Cloneygowan
SEVERAL Offaly GAA clubs embarked on or concluded development projects in 2025, Offaly GAA Convention was told on Wednesday evening.
Secretary Brendan Minnock highlighted the volume of development taking place across the county, praising clubs for their initiative.
The following projects were mentioned:

Ballinagar – Land purchase and sports capital for astro turf area;
Ballyfore – Extension to building and fencing works;
Ballyskenach-Killavilla – Ongoing land transfer and pitch realignment works in Ballyskenach;
Belmont – New indoor astro training area;
Bracknagh – Sports capital for new lights;
Clara – Upgrade of floodlights;
Daingean – Borrowing money for developments;
Drumcullen – New gym building and land purchase;
Faithful Fields, Kilcormac – Planning application for new all weather pitch;
Ferbane – Application to Leinster Council for completion of dressing room upgrades;
Raheen – Land acquistion at Cloneygowan and permission for entrance;
Shannonbridge – New gym buildings-Shannette sheds modular structure.
