Two Offaly players nominated for Camogie intermediate player of the year

TWO Offaly players have been nominated for the PwC GPA Camogie Intermediate Player of the Year.

Orlagh Phelan and Grace Teehan, both Naomh Brid are among the three nominees,along with Kerry's Patrice Diggin.

The duo were outstanding as Offaly returned to senior ranks, beating Kerry in the All-Ireland intermediate final.

Kerry's Patrice Diggin is the other is the other nominee but it will be a surprise if one of the Offaly players isn't honoured when the camogie All-Stars and players of the year winners are presented with their awards in Croke Park on Saturday, November 15.
