THE Offaly Association in Dublin have made the arrangements for the final arrangements for one of their major undertakings each year, a big fundraising golf classic to raise much needed finance for the Offaly GAA County Board.
It will take place on September on Thursday and Friday, September 4th and 5th in the scenic surrounds of Palmerstown House Estate, Naas.
The golf classic has proven to be remarkably successful since first held three years ago and has raised considerable money over its four years. Last years classic raised €30,000 and the event for the past four years has raised in excess of €110,000 for the promotion and development of Gaelic games in Offaly.
Tee times are available between 11.30am to 3pm on Thursday 4th and from 9am to 3pm on Friday 5th of September next.
The time sheet is filling up rapidly with many current and former Offaly footballers and hurlers competing.
People should make early contact to secure their preferred tee time.

Format: Four person scramble .
Cost : Team of four at 500 euro ( Teams to include minimum of two players with Golf Ireland Handicaps )
