Dan Ravenhill scores a goal for Ballinamere ahead of Conor Slevin in last year's final.
GROUP 2 - ST RYANGH'S
Manager - Arien Delaney,
Selectors - Ger Scales & Cathal Horan,
Captain - Not Picked Yet,
Absentees- Dermot Shortt has emigrated to Australia, Luke O'Connor will be in the US for the summer.
New Players - Ronan Hughes has returned from Australia;
Star player – Ben Conneely;
Key players – Shane Rigney, Luke O'Connor;
Last year – Lost to Ballinamere in the semi-final;
Prospects – St Rynagh's are heading into transition but are close to the top of the second tier behind Kilcormac-Killoughey and Ballinamere. They have plenty going for them, one of the best defenders in Offaly in Ben Conneely, some exciting forwards in Shane Rigney, Luke O'Connor, Aaron Molloy and Darragh Scully. They are well capable of taking a big scalp and can't be ruled out but it is a big ask for them to win another title at the moment – a few of their elder statesmen are heading down the wrong side of the hill and they are in a rebuilding stage.
