Offaly won the Joe McDonagh Cup at Croke Park in June on a 2-23 to 0-26 scoreline over near neighbours Laois. Four of Offaly's U20 All-Ireland started at HQ with Offaly finding most near the end to win out and return to top tier hurling next season.
