You can't walk ten yards this week without seeing someone giving you a tip for Cheltenham or asking you what are you backing in the Champion Hurdle or Gold Cup.

I will be the first to admit that I could write down everything I know about picking horses on the back of a stamp but, not wanting to suffer from FOMO, I decided to come up with my own way of getting tips together.

As I didn't have an octopus available, I googled random number generator and found just the thing. Using this ultra scientific method, here are the tips that came up for today's races. Please, please do not back any horses based on what follows but we will circle back at the end of the day to see how this utterly random system worked when compared to the actual results.
