CHRISTMAS comes to Cloonagh just outside Tullamore this weekend with the opening of Jamie’s Christmas Wonderland and Pet Farm. From this Friday November 25 all the family will be able to enjoy an outing with a difference on the Kinnitty Road half a mile beyond Tullamore Golf Club on the right hand side.
The Christmas Wonderland is very well signposted so you can’t miss it. This is a seaonal outing with a difference. First there is the Pet Farm where the children can see deer, pigs, a donkey, ponies, goats, turkeys and a wild boar, after that it is into the indoor play area where parents can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while the children enjoy the swings, slides and bouncy castle or they can take the time to write their letter to Santa, writing materials will be provided.
Then the Elves will take the children into the Storytelling Area, on the way they will pass through the Winter Wonderland complete with real snow from snow machines on site. Then it is into Santa’s Grotto where they can view the workshop and the Store for the toys. Children can then have their photograph taken with Santa and each will receive a gift before returning to the play area again to enjoy the swings and slides and bouncy castle and to have their face painted before heading home.
Families can take their time while visiting, it is estimated that the visit can last up to 90 minutes, but that is up to you. Everyone is advised to wear warm clothing even though all the activities are under cover it will still be cold with the snow. Families are welcome to bring their own cameras to record the special event.
