Suzuki has unveiled a stylish new choice in its popular Swift line-up, following in the tyre tracks of the Attitude special edition from the previous Swift range and taking the same name.
It’s aimed at younger buyers with a combination of visual modifications and low running costs, including a respectable group 9E insurance rating and the potential for 56.5mpg.
Based on the 1.2-litre SZ3 model from the mainstream part of the range, just 500 Swift Attitudes will be built on a first-come, first-served basis in either three- or five-door guises.
The 93bhp 1.2-litre engine forms the heart of the car and is an economical choice for young buyers, but there is much to shout about on the outside. A carbon-fibre effect roof and door mirrors, rear privacy glass, a body-coloured rear spoiler and black alloy wheels give the Swift Attitude an aggressive look worthy of its name.
Inside, a USB input socket, seven airbags, Electronic Stability Programme and air conditioning are also standard.
