ON Tuesday March 8 a special concert will be held in the Tullamore Court Hotel to celebrate International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future. Annually on that date, thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements. A global web of rich and diverse local activity connects women from all around the world ranging from political rallies, business conferences, and networking events through to local women’s craft markets, theatrical performances, fashion parades and more.
A concert is been organised in Tullamore Court Hotel to celebrate the achievements of so many women especially those from Offaly and the midlands. Special guest is Rose of Tralee Clare Kambamettu, and MC on the night is beauty & style journalist Anne Boylan from Social & Personnel magazine.
Among the groups performing are Tullamore Stage School, Sacred Heart School Choir, Academy of Music and more.
