PICTURES: Thousands enjoying the afternoon at day 2 of National Ploughing Championships

Thousands of people are out and about in Screggan, Co Offaly at Day Two of the National Ploughing Championships.

Crowds were out in force this Wednesday afternoon, with visitors from across Ireland arriving for another packed day of competitions, demonstrations, entertainment and everything the three-day event has to offer.

From farming and machinery to food, fashion and family entertainment, there is plenty to keep visitors of all ages busy.

Conditions in Screggan are mostly settled with a mixture of cloud and some brighter spells expected. Temperatures are set to reach around 16 degrees.
