Edenderry St. Patrick's Day parade puts a call out for stewards
The committee behind the recently saved Edenderry St. Patrick's Day parade has put out a call for people to become stewards on the day to help keep the show on the road.
The committee has been working tirelessly to secure all the necessary permissions and support to run the parade, while also engaging local clubs and groups to enter floats on the day.
They also recently announced well-known local John Delamere as the Grand Marshall for the 2019 event, a hugely popular choice.
However, the committee has urgently asked local people to come onboard as stewards to help keep everything in order on the day.
A meeting for those interested in becoming stewards is taking place at Larkin's Pub in Edenderry at 8pm on Tuesday, March 12.
Organisers have urged people to "help your community and your support to help us out."
