A woman in her 30s was brought to hospital after a crash between a car and an emergency vehicle in Edenderry on Friday morning.
Gardaí and emergency services confirmed they attended the scene following a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving an emergency vehicle and a car near New Row Corner, the junction of the main street with St Francis Street, in Edenderry, Co Offaly.
A Garda statement said: "The female passenger of the car (aged in her 30s) was conveyed to hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.
"Investigations are ongoing."

The incident occurred at 7am on Friday, December 12. Not long before, gardaí had been called to the scene of a fatal road crash involving a bus, a car and a pedestrian near Edenderry Rugby Club on the road between Edenderry and Carbury in Kildare.
