The relaxed and inclusive meeting is intended to be a space where people can have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee

Offaly Climate and Biodiversity Action Group are hosting a ‘Biodiversity and a Brew’ – Networking for Nature event in Tom’s Artisan Café, Main Street Tullamore on Wednesday September 9th @ 7pm.

The relaxed and inclusive meeting is intended to be a space where people can have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The conversations will be wide-ranging and a positive focus will be placed on what we can do to get involved in helping nature locally. Both people with a depth of information and those who wish to learn and find out more are welcome to join.

Amongst the topics being discussed will be ongoing Offaly Climate and Biodiversity Action Group conservation projects. There will also be members of other groups such as Tullamore Community Garden and the local Cherry Laurel Action Group in attendance where you can learn about these groups and also how you can make a difference and get involved.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Joe Stewart said: with the recent launch of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan 2026-2030 it is a great time to come together to share ideas and find out how we can contribute individually as well as collaborating and working together to support local biodiversity.

Anyone interested in finding out more about this upcoming event or if they wish to get involved with the voluntary group who formed last year can email [email protected] or see their public facebook page.
