'Gone too soon' - Soccer club leads tributes after untimely death of Offaly man

Tributes are being paid today after the untimely death of popular Tullamore man Patrick 'Pa' Gorman.

Pa died peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Tullamore on Monday and according to RIP.ie, is predeceased by his brother Anthony and his father in law Kevin.

"Patrick will be sadly missed and always remembered by his loving wife Andrea, daughter Demi-Leigh, his parents Patsy and Josie, sisters Michelle, Joanne and Megan, brothers in law, mother in law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a very large circle of friends.

Tullamore Town FC led tributes to him on Monday, posting on social media: "Everyone at Tullamore Town FC would like to pass on our condolences to all of the Gorman family and also Pa's wife Andrea at this sad time after the passing of Pa. May he Rest in Peace."

Another friend posted: "Rest in peace Pa..you were one of the good ones. May You have one of the best beds in heaven."

A third tribute read: "My deepest condolences to Pa's wife and family. He was a gentleman taken way to soon. May he rest in peace."

A further message to the family said "Pa was a happy go lucky chap with a hello for all. He is up there now with Anto and will mind ye all from above. Rip Pa."

Funeral Arrangements:

Reposing at 150 Arden View on Tuesday from 5pm until Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 9.30am to the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial after Mass in Clonminch Cemetery, Tullamore.
