Bridge House Hotel
The Bridge House Hotel in the centre of Tullamore has announced their renovation plans in the main bar which is set to transform the area into one of Ireland’s top eateries and entertainment venues.
The Lenaghan family currently employ over 250 staff and have announced the positive news of 30 new additional jobs to Tullamore with this project. Award winning hospitality sector creative’s John Duffy Design Group was commissioned to design the interiors of The Bridge House Bar, Char Bistro and Late Night Venue. The design brief was to create a new vibrant cocktail bar with casual food offering in a very comfortable environment.
The main features of this new venue include, feature wine display, whiskey cabinet, LED up lighting and new decorative statement lighting throughout. On arrival, The Bridge House is creating a new front lounge with rich dark tones and textures and a feature decorative arch with an antique timepiece. Intimate zones have been formed with library walls, ambient lit whiskey cabinets and a feature walk through wine display.
The new cocktail bar will have a pewter counter with embossed leather with a back drop of gold metallic tiling highlighting the array of liquors on display.
The existing main bar has received a new face lift with applied embossed metallic finishes, lighting and mosaic floor. The famous Bridge House Carvery will retain its traditional offering along with enhanced gourmet food offer including a new Wok station.
As the evenings close in, Char Bistro, Bar and Late Night Venue will kick in offering patrons the opportunity to dine in luxurious yet comfortable surroundings and to enjoy a masterfully prepared cocktail or drink of your choice! The lighting strategy is moody and atmospheric, the perfect setting for the casual yet carefully considered food offers available.
The bar itself is the centre piece of the room and has been ergonomically designed as the perfect mixologists bar, with tiered illuminated liquors, gins, whiskeys and premium spirits from around the world. Other design features include 1930s painted panelled walls, a fireside setting, personalised drinks cabinets, cosy corners for parties and a beautifully decorated dedicated cocktail bar.
Later in the night, The Bridge House Bar will evolve into a late night venue offering patrons the best of live music followed by a DJ until late.
The Bridge House Bar, Bistro and Late Night Venue is a visually stimulating, experiential and engaging space and is sure to become the most desirable food, beverage and entertainment destination for discerning patrons looking for something a little different in the midlands.
The Bridge House Hotel will also be releasing plans to expand its bedroom capacity and facilities in the near future with a further increase in local jobs and activity with the aim of attracting more visitors to Tullamore and County Offaly.
