All systems go for another highly anticipated Tullamore Show

The excitement is mounting and while many were enjoying the busiest bank holiday weekend of the year, the Tullamore Show site was busy into the early hours of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The excitement is mounting and while many were enjoying the busiest bank holiday weekend of the year, the Tullamore Show site was busy into the early hours of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Suppliers, volunteers and committee members oversaw the last of site plans including fence building and the erection of marquees in time for the initial influx of trade exhibitors who began arriving on Tuesday morning.

An onsite office is now in place and organisers are taking advantage of all daylight hours to complete this tremendous project. By this coming Friday, the site will resemble a small town. This coming Sunday, 60,000 people plus are expected to land on the Irelands’ Premier Show.

Gates open at 7am for exhibitors and 9am to the general public. Tickets are €15 for adults, €10 for students (with ID) and senior citizens and free to children under 14 accompanied by and adult. Shuttle buses will leave Tullamore every hour (from 9:00am in O’Connor Square and 9:30am from Tullamore Train Station. Last bus will leave the site at 6:30pm.
