Strong reputation earns Bord na Mona brace of awards

BORD na Móna’s reputation has been recognised as the company won two awards at the prestigious RepTrak 2012 survey. The survey measures corporate reputations of Irelands top 100 companies and is closely watched both here and abroad.

BORD na Móna’s reputation has been recognised as the company won two awards at the prestigious RepTrak 2012 survey. The survey measures corporate reputations of Irelands top 100 companies and is closely watched both here and abroad.

RepTrak 2012 awarded Bord na Móna to be Ireland’s Number Semi State company. The survey also scored the company as number one in the Irish energy sector.

The company scored exceptionally well for its product and service provision, its corporate governance and its advances in areas such as environmental protection.

Bord na Móna CEO, Gabriel D’arcy remarked, “We are delighted to have received this very impressive award. I want to note firstly that this couldn’t have been done without the hard work of our employees. Of course I want to especially thank our customers for their confidence in us, and also their continued support over the years.

“We are thrilled to have been named Ireland’s number one semi- state company and also to be number one in the energy sector It’s a great acknowledgement, of both the potential of our company, and what it has already achieved.”
