IN times of industrial stagnation and economic decline people often have to fallback on their skills.
This is exactly what one Irish education charity is doing.
Thousands of people all over Ireland have missed out on pursuing the very careers that they wanted due to a number of factors. For some it was the fear of dropping a secure pensionable job while for others it was
family commitments. Whatever the reason thousands longed to do other work like pursuing their first love of maybe working with their hands as a craftsperson.
“Now is the time for people to re-invent themselves by taking of some creative course”, according to Tom Roche, founder/coordinator of Just Forests.
They have just launched a hands-on furniture restoration course with a difference. More about this course can be viewed on our website http://www.justforests.org/the-restorer
