RHODE will play host to a Seisuin Mor on June 21, Ireland’s National Music Day.

RHODE will play host to a Seisuin Mor on June 21, Ireland’s National Music Day.

This day-long celebration of Irish music of all genres will see thousands of musicians stage free live music events across the country including The Rhode Comhaltas Seisuin Mor in Killeen’s Village Bar.

The two hour session of Traditional music in Killeens Village Bar starts at 8pm and is presented by Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann.

Other events set to take place across Offaly include a traditional session of music, song and dance, when Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann presents a traditional music session from 7pm to 8.30pm in Tullybeg House Golf Club, Tullamore. Other unique, fresh and free musical performances across Offaly will include an outdoor informal session where all traditional enthusiasts are welcome in the square of Birr and will have an opportunity to listen, play and join in from 8pm to 10pm on Main Street, Birr
