THIS year’s Electric Picnic is proving to be one of the best for comedy lovers with top class comedians visiting Stradbally from Ireland and beyond.
The comedy stage at Electric Picnic is one of the most exciting in the 10 year history of the event with pride of place going to global superstar Dylan Moran.
The Navan native was recently voted the 14th greatest stand-up comedian of all time in a Channel 4 poll. Star and writer of cult TV series ‘Black Books’(CH4), Moran’s acting credits also include starring roles in the hit movies ‘Shaun Of The Dead’, ‘Notting Hill’ and ‘Run Fat Boy Run’.
As well as Dylan Moran, Picnic stalwart David O’ Doherty will be returning to the scene of his finest ever hour and promises to try and fix everything in his own lo-fi inimitable style. Other acts include Reginald D Hunter, Andrew Maxwell, Bernard O’ Shea, Fred Cooke, Dermot Whelan, Dublin Comedy Improv and many more. Check out EP on Facebook for more.
