Traditional concert for Offaly Fleadh

A fantastic night of music, song and dance will be held on Friday May 6 with the annual Traditional Concert for the Fleadh. The venue will be Oakland’s Community College, Edenderry and the concert will commence at 8pm.

A fantastic night of music, song and dance will be held on Friday May 6 with the annual Traditional Concert for the Fleadh. The venue will be Oakland’s Community College, Edenderry and the concert will commence at 8pm.

The concert will host a number of artists such as:

Mol An Oige – A selection of some of the finest young musicians in Offaly;

Offaly Harp School – A newly established harp school in Offaly under the direction of Niamh Denemede;

The High Bank – A group of musicians and singers hailing from Offaly, Kildare, Meath & Westmeath. They perfomed at Fleadh Cheoil Na hEireann, Tullamore in 2007,’08 & ’09;

and Local Artists.

Raffle will be held on the night with some fantastic prizes
