Arts and Community celebrated at Tullamore St Patrick’s Day Parade

the theme of this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Tullamore was Arts & The Community and this was very vividly illustrated by the many floats who participated.

Heavy rainfall earlier in the day had raised concerns about the number of participants, but the clouds cleared and by 11am they were all lining up at the Bridge Centre car park before commencing their march down High Street, promptly at 11.30am.

Led, as always by the local FCA Marching Party, the Tullamore Town Band and the Irish National Forresters, this year’s parade seemed to feature more youth groups than previous years.
