An enchanted evening at Charleville Castle

An “Enchanted Evening” is promised at Charleville Castle in Tullamore on Saturday May 5 when a celebration of wine, women and song takes place at the beautiful venue in aid of Tullamore Community Arts Centre.

An “Enchanted Evening” is promised at Charleville Castle in Tullamore on Saturday May 5 when a celebration of wine, women and song takes place at the beautiful venue in aid of Tullamore Community Arts Centre.

The participants include mezzo-soprano Antonia Sotgiu, sopranos Emily Alexander and Helen Smith, accompanist Bethan Lee and baritone Pascal Kennedy. On the list of entertainment for the evening will be songs from Carmen, Don Giovanni, West Side Story, La Boheme, The Merry Widow, Les Miserables, South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Lakmé and many others.

Tickets are a very reasonable €25 which includes wine and refreshments and are available from Heartbeat City, Bridge Centre, Tullamore. Tel 057 93 41822.
