Men & Women is a short film being produced under the FilmOffaly scheme, and based on an award-wining short story by Claire Keegan.

The story follows a young girl over her 9th Christmas as her loss of innocence is reflected in her realisation that relations between her parents are not what they seem.

Central to the story is a big New Year’s Eve dance and the producers are looking for extras to take part in the filming of the dance.

If you’re ready to get dolled up in your best 70s clothes and hair and be a part of this short film, please do get in touch.

You’ll be required to be available for two full days, and to bring two changes of clothing which would be appropriate for 1979.

As we’re a low budget shoot, there is no fee available, but catering and a DVD of the finished film will be provided.

Filming takes place in Cloghan from March 22 to March 25.
