Tullamore Amateur Dramatic Society (TADS) is taking to the All-Ireland One Act Drama circuit with local man Padraic Seery’s play Deadmen Walking, directed by Gay Veitch.

The festival circuit runs over the coming weeks and TADS’ first performance was Sunday 28th October in Cavan and this will be followed by Manorhamilton on the 9th of November. Further dates include Skerries (16th November), Carrigallen (17th November) and finally Prosperous (23rd November). Should TADS be successful and gain entry to the finals these are in Ballyduff (7th – 9th December).

The play was a very popular one when it was last staged upstairs in Hugh Lynch’s as part of the showcase of local, talented playwrights and we hope that it will be equally as popular with audiences and judges alike during its ‘almost nationwide’ run! This is the first time in a number of years that TADS has embarked on a circuit run and we wish all taking part a most successful venture out beyond the county border.
