If you love real comedy with a twist then get yourself to The Palace Nightclub in Tullamore on February 24 as the satirical and crude comedy duo ‘The Rubberbandits’ take to the stage for a night of laughs and music that you are going to be talking about for years to come!
The Rubberbandits have become an online sensation making them the 12th most popular MySpace page in the whole of Ireland with hilarious songs like “Bag of Glue”, “Too Many Gee”, “Up Da Ra” and not forgetting the extremely popular and successful “Horse Outside” which was released in December 2010.
The comedy hip-hop duo of Blind Boy Boat Club and Mr. Chrome from Limerick, have been active since 2000 writing, performing and touring the length and breadth of the country tackling a number of issues affecting the youth of Limerick with a comic twist of recorded prank calls and original but shocking songs.
Having performed at events including Electric Picnic and the Bulmers International Comedy Festival and performed along side acts such as Alabama Three, Super Extra Bonus Party and Ice Cube, The Rubberbandits are well established as one of Ireland’s most popular and sought after groups.
The Rubberbandits at The Palace Nightclub Tullamore is something not to be missed. Doors open at 9pm with the boys taking to the stage at 9:30pm, entry to the show costs €15 with free admission once the show has finished.
